Favour is an extraordinary act of kindness that surpasses the ordinary. It’s an undeserved blessing that’s preceded by mercy. In other words, favour is the tangible expression of God’s mercy in our lives. To experience favour, we must first receive mercy.
Every individual needs God’s favour to navigate life’s challenges. Without it, we’ll struggle, become frustrated, and feel lost. The absence of God’s favour can make life feel like a wilderness experience and devoid of hope.
On the other hand, when God’s favour rests upon our lives, everything changes. Life becomes easier, and we experience a deep sense of rest and peace. We receive unexpected blessings, encounter divine connections, and enjoy unprecedented success.
One of the most effective ways to receive favour is through fasting and prayer, as demonstrated by Esther in Esther 4:15-16.
As we seek God’s favour, let’s remember that:
▪️Favour is not earned; it’s received through mercy.
▪️Favour changes our lives and circumstances.
▪️Favour is accessible through fasting, prayer, and humility.
