Elevation means being lifted from a lower level to a higher level. It signifies a change of position, a transition from a state of obscurity to prominence, and from mediocrity to excellence. Divine elevation, therefore, implies being divinely repositioned, where God Himself orchestrates your promotion.
A crucial aspect of divine elevation is that it brings transformation. When God elevates you, every facet of your life is impacted, leading to a profound change in your life. Your thoughts, words, and actions are all transformed, reflecting your new position and status.
The scripture in 1 Samuel 2:8, says, He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.
This verse reminds us that God is the One who elevates individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances. He is the One who lifts the humble and brings them to a place of honour.
This Bible verse should inspire humility and caution us against belittling or looking down on others. We must recognize that anyone can be elevated by God at any time, regardless of their current situation. God’s lifting is always divine, and it’s not limited by human expectations or biases.
To experience divine elevation, it’s essential to position yourself rightly before God. This involves cultivating a deep relationship with Him, walking in obedience to His Word, and trusting in His sovereignty.
Remember, divine elevation is not just about personal advancement; it’s also about fulfilling God’s purposes and advancing His kingdom. When you’re elevated, you’re empowered to make a greater impact, influence your surroundings, and bring glory to God.
