Topic: GOD’S UNLIMITED MERCY (2).
Scripture: [Romans 9:15-16]
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
BELOVED, HEAR THIS.
Mercy is a divine intervention that alters the course of human events. Apart from God’s mercy, our lives would be devoid of purpose and direction. God’s mercy is what brings significance and value to our lives.
Mercy has brought transformation to many of us. We were once nobody, but mercy made us somebody (1 Peter 2:10).
By mercy, many of us have been restored. Mercy brings restoration to a person’s destiny. Blind Bartimaeus cried out for mercy to change his situation and end his suffering. He cried out for mercy to rewrite his story, and he received it.
The mercy he received lifted him out of his circumstances to a new level (Mark 10:46-52). His destiny was repositioned immediately. When you encounter the God of mercy, He repositions your destiny.
The mercy of God can transport you to where you desire to be. God’s mercy has transported me to where I have always desired to be. His mercies are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22, It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
