Scripture: [Matthew 16:18]
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
BELOVED, HEAR THIS.
Commitment is the embodiment of dedication, faithfulness, and loyalty. It’s about wholeheartedly devoting oneself to a cause, refusing to accept anything less than success. Unfortunately, many individuals have lost sight of their God-given assignments. Instead of encouraging newcomers, some individuals, who should be mentors, discourage them.
Even attending church services has become a challenge, with many arriving late or neglecting to attend altogether.
True commitment, however, stands firm through both prosperity and adversity. Sadly, some people only maintain their commitment when circumstances are favorable, but falter when faced with minor obstacles.
May we rediscover the true meaning of commitment and stand firm in our walk, unwavering in our dedication to God’s purposes in Jesus Name.
As a child of God, when faced with barriers or challenges, that’s when you should demonstrate even greater commitment and faithfulness to God. That’s when you should commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him, and He will act (Psalms 37:5).
