Topic: ENLIGHTENMENT IS KEY.
Scripture: [Ephesians 1:18]
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
BELOVED, HEAR THIS.
To enlighten means to illuminate, shed light on, or instruct our understanding. God desires to give each of us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing Christ. Knowing Christ occurs when the eyes of our understanding are enlightened, and we gain spiritual insight.
When the Lord opens our eyes, our understanding is illuminated, and we begin to see the hidden treasures and potential within us. This enlightenment reveals that we are not where we are meant to be, spiritually speaking.
To enlighten the eyes of our understanding refers to our spiritual discernment, an inner knowing that originates from our spirit. This spiritual understanding enables us to grasp God’s eternal truth with certainty and confidence.
To experience God’s enlightenment, seek a personal encounter and relationship with the living God. When you set aside everything that doesn’t align with God’s will and approach Him with a teachable heart, your spiritual eyes will be opened.
I pray for you, may the Lord enlighten your understanding to behold the wonders in His Word, as promised in Psalms 119:18.
