Topic: BARRIERS TO EXPERIENCING NEW THINGS (1).
Scripture: [Isaiah 43: 18-19].
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
BELOVED, HEAR THIS:.
Are you stuck along the line, wanting to try new things but unsure where to start? You’re not alone, God is with you. Many of us face barriers that hold us back from experiencing new things. Let’s examine some common ones:
1: *Fear of the Unknown* A lot of people fall victim of this. Afraid of trying something new because you don’t know what to expect. You can never experience something new if you’re always afraid of trying new things. This could be as a result of fear of failure or making mistakes.
To avoid fear of the unknown, start small, take steps towards trying something new. Do research, ask questions, and seek guidance from others. If you are afraid of making mistakes, you will never learn. Fear of mistakes can hinder learning, but it’s often through mistakes that we learn and grow.
2: *Comfort Zone* Feeling too comfortable in your comfort zone can hinder you from achieving new things. Are you afraid to step out of your comfort zone? Challenge yourself by identifying areas where you feel stuck and push yourself to try something new. Build confidence to come out of your comfort zone and try something new.
