Topic: ABIDING IN CHRIST (2).
Scripture: [John 15:5-7]
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
BELOVED HEAR THIS.
Benefits of Abiding in Christ
There are numerous benefits when you abide in Christ. Among them are:
▪️ God’s Word is fully manifested in your life when you are connected to Him (Philippians 1:6). You can be confident that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
▪️ Your connection to God will activate the fulfillment of your glorious destiny.
▪️ He will order and direct your steps (Psalms 37:23). Only those who are connected to Him will be led and directed by Him.
▪️ He will always send His angels ahead of you to work out everything for you.
Some people complain about following Jesus without anything to show for it. Such people may not be following Him according to His will and pattern, or they may not be fully connected to Him. You can’t follow God and not have evidence to show for it. Our God is a faithful, covenant-keeping God who cannot deny His own.
When you forsake everything to follow Jesus, you will receive a hundredfold blessings and have everlasting life.
