Topic: CONSEQUENCES OF IMPATIENCE (3).
Scripture: [Isaiah 40: 31]
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
BELOVED, HEAR THIS:
In continuation of my teaching series on the consequences of impatience, today’s focus will be on two critical areas: Lack of Faith and Spiritual Stagnation.
3: Lack of Faith:
Impatience reveals a lack of trust in God’s sovereignty and timing. When we impatiently demand quick answers or solutions, we doubt God’s goodness and provision, we question God’s ability to fulfill promises, we demonstrate lack of faith in God’s plan and welimit God’s power and intervention.
The Israelites’ impatience in the wilderness led them to doubt God’s presence and provision, resulting in idolatry and rebellion
They murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!
In Exodus 14:4, they said one to another, let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.
They wanted going back to the land of suffering because of impatience.
(Numbers 14:1-4).
4: Spiritual Stagnation:
Impatience can hinder spiritual growth and maturity. When we impatiently seek instant gratification, we neglect spiritual disciplines (prayer, study, meditation), we fail to develop perseverance and endurance, we miss opportunities for character development and stagnated in our spiritual journey.
The disciples’ impatience and lack of faith hindered them from understanding Jesus’ teachings and fulfilling their mission
Mark 4:40, And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
#QuoteMeRight: Impatience can make you miss your God’s appointed time.

Receive fresh grace from above to wait until your appointed time comes.
As you patiently wait on God, may He fulfill all His promises over your life.
May impatience not rush you into missing your divine destiny in Jesus Mighty Name.
