Scripture: [Romans 9:15-16]
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
BELOVED, HEAR THIS.
Yesterday, we reflected on the story of Blind Bartimaeus, who received his sight through God’s mercy, transforming his life instantly (Mark 10:46-52). Despite the crowd’s attempts to silence him, the voice of mercy prevailed.
Many reading this devotional may feel frustrated with their current circumstances, feeling like some people are hindering their progress and mocking their faith. It may seem as though some have given up on you, seeing no notable achievements in your life. If you’re in this situation, I pray that God’s mercy will change your story for good, in Jesus’ Name.
No matter how long you’ve been struggling or how daunting your challenges seem, remember that God has a better plan for your life. His mercy can rewrite your story, turning you into a testament to His greatness. Your current struggles are stepping stones to your destiny.
Like Blind Bartimaeus, hold on to your faith in God; He will rewrite your story and destiny. Don’t let your current situation distance you from God’s presence, as He may be testing your faith and patience. Hold on to Him, and His mercy will transform your life.
