RHIM PROPHETIC WORD AND DAILY DEVOTIONAL PRAYER- 24TH/JULY/2024

RHIM PROPHETIC WORD AND DAILY DEVOTIONAL PRAYER.

Date: Wednesday, 24th July 2024.

Topic: CONSEQUENCES OF WRONG DECISION (2).

Scripture: [Judges 16:16-20]

16 And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death;

17 That he told her all his heart, and said unto her. There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.

18 And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand.

19 And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.

20 And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him.

BELOVED, HEAR THIS.

Lessons learnt from Samson.

Samson’s life is a powerful reminder of the dangers of ignoring God’s guidance and succumbing to our own desires. By marrying Delilah, a woman who didn’t share his faith or values, Samson compromised his divine calling and opened himself up to manipulation and betrayal.

His story teaches us that:

▪️ Disobedience can lead to destruction: Samson’s refusal to heed God’s warnings and his parents advice led to his downfall.

▪️ Compromise can lead to captivity: Samson’s willingness to compromise his values and convictions ultimately led to his physical and spiritual captivity.

▪️ Blind spots can lead to blindness: Samson’s failure to see Delilah’s true intentions led to his blindness and loss of strength.

▪️ Redemption is possible: Despite his mistakes, Samson’s final act of surrender and faith led to his redemption and a final victory over his enemies.

▪️ Our choices have consequences: Samson’s decisions affected not only his own life but also the lives of those around him, including his family and community.

▪️ God’s grace is sufficient: Despite Samson’s flaws and failures, God’s grace and strength were still available to him, and he was able to accomplish great things.

#QuoteMeRight: Our choices have great consequences and the consequences we face can influence our choices.

#PropheticPrayer

May the Lord separate you from every Delilah in human form.

May every secret plot and gang up against you be scattered.

May the decisions you make not lead to premature death or cut your life short before your time in Jesus Mighty Name.

Amen!

We treasure you.

Blessed morning. Do have a great midweek.
