Topic: GRACE TO BUILD CAPACITY (3).
Scripture: [1Corinthians 15:10]
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
BELOVED, HEAR THIS.
Biblical Examples of Grace Building Capacity:
Moses: Moses was empowered by God’s grace to lead the Israelites out of slavery and into the Promised Land. (Exodus 3:10-12)
David: David was empowered by God’s grace to defeat Goliath and become king of Israel. (1 Samuel 17:1-58)
Paul: Paul was empowered by God’s grace to spread the gospel and establish churches throughout the Mediterranean world. (Acts 9:15-16)
Jesus: Jesus was empowered by God’s grace to live a sinless life, perform miracles, and die on the cross for our sins. (John 1:14-18)
Characteristics of Grace-Built Capacity:
Humility: Recognizing that our capacity is built by God’s grace, not our own strength or abilities. (1 Corinthians 15:10).
Dependence on God: Acknowledging our need for God’s empowering grace in our lives. (John 15:5)
Faithfulness: Being faithful to God’s call and purposes, even when faced with challenges and obstacles. (1 Corinthians 4:2)
Perseverance: Persisting in our efforts, even when faced with difficulties and setbacks. (Romans 5:3-5)
You must understand that building capacity through God’s empowering grace is a lifelong journey.
