Scripture: [Psalms 105:17-19].
17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
BELOVED, HEAR THIS.
For the past two days, we have been considering the power of character. Today, we shall be looking at benefits of good character:
1. Trust and Credibility:
Good character builds trust and credibility with others. When you consistently demonstrate integrity, reliability, and honesty, people will believe in your words and actions, count on you to follow through on commitments, see you as dependable and responsible.
This can lead to deeper relationships, increased opportunities and greater influence.
2. Respect and Admiration:
A strong character earns respect and admiration from others. When you demonstrate humility and kindness, others will look up to you as a role model, value your opinions and even seek your counsel and guidance. This can lead to stronger relationships, increased influence and personal growth.
3. Inner Peace and Confidence:
Strong character brings inner peace and confidence. When you align your actions with your values, make decisions based on principles and always take responsibility for your actions, you will experience peace of mind, confidence in your decisions and freedom from guilt and shame.
Psalms 119:80, Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.
