RHIM PROPHETIC WORD AND DAILY DEVOTIONAL PRAYER- 29TH/ JULY/2024

RHIM PROPHETIC WORD AND DAILY DEVOTIONAL PRAYER.

Date: Monday, 29th July 2024.

Topic: CONSEQUENCES OF WRONG DECISION (7).

Scripture: [Luke 15:12-16]

12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

BELOVED, HEAR THIS.

Lessons learned from the prodigal son’s decision continues:

▪️Our decisions have consequences, shaping our lives and destinies: Every choice we make has a ripple effect, influencing our future and the lives of those around us. The prodigal son’s decision to leave his father’s house led to his suffering.

▪️Rebellion against God’s love and wisdom leads to destruction, while submission leads to life.

▪️Resisting God’s guidance and wisdom can lead to ruin or destruction while surrendering to His will brings life, hope, and purpose.

▪️Humility and repentance can lead to restoration, no matter how far we may stray: The prodigal son’s humble return and repentance led to his restoration, demonstrating that it’s never too late to turn back to God and receive forgiveness.

▪️God’s love and forgiveness are always available, waiting to be received: The father’s eagerness to welcome his son back home illustrates God’s unwavering love and forgiveness, always ready to be received by those who return to Him.

▪️The importance of gratitude and appreciation for what we have: The prodigal son took his father’s blessings for granted, leading to his downfall.

▪️The dangers of pride and self-sufficiency: The prodigal son’s pride and self-reliance led him away from his father’s love and wisdom.

▪️The value of perseverance and patience: The father waited patiently for his son’s return, demonstrating God’s long-suffering nature.

▪️The power of forgiveness and reconciliation: The parable shows us the beauty of forgiveness and reconciliation, both with God and with others.
