Topic: YOUR COMMITMENT IS KEY (3).
Scripture: [Matthew 16:18]
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
BELOVED, HEAR THIS.
Commitment also involves honoring your vows and pledges to God. Some people fail to keep their promises to God, but it’s essential to fulfill them, as God’s word is unbreakable (Isaiah 55:11).
Be faithful to the vows you make to God, for He cannot be deceived or bribed. Don’t only commit to God when you need something from Him; instead, cultivate a deep and consistent commitment that honours Him in all seasons.
Remember, God desires our wholehearted devotion, not conditional or self-serving commitments. Let’s strive to be faithful and committed to Him, regardless of circumstances.
What God requires of us is total commitment, complete devotion, and wholehearted dedication – all that we are and all that we have. This means we must hold nothing back from Him, just as God holds nothing back from us.
If God willingly gave His only Son, Jesus, as a sacrifice for you and me, then we should likewise offer everything to Him, holding nothing back.
