Topic: UNDERSTANDING DIVINE ELEVATION (2).
Scripture: [Psalms 75:6-7].
6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
BELOVED, HEAR THIS.
Faith is required for divine elevation, the scripture says, Without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is. (Hebrews 11:6).
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
Faith demonstrates trust in God’s plan and timing, it requires patience, perseverance, and surrender. You can cultivate faith through prayer, worship, and meditation.
Divine elevation is process- oriented, it involves refinement, testing, and preparation.
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: (1 Peter 1:6)
We also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance. (Romans 5:3)
Divine elevation involves growth, refinement, and maturity. Trials and challenges prepare you for greater responsibilities, embrace the process, trusting God’s purposes.
It also involves humility: remaining humble and dependent on God is vital for divine elevation.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you. (James 4:10)
Humility recognizes God’s sovereignty and power, while pride and self-reliance hinder divine elevation. Cultivate humility through prayer, self-awareness, and service.
